DDN Curriculum

TTL/DTL 2002 marked the exciting début of South Dakota’s own Curriculum Lesson Plan Site. Units of study that are designed during TTL Academies are submitted to this site and then made available to fellow educators. The DDN Curriculum site is also used by other state programs and unit/lesson submission and is open to all South Dakota educators.

A few notes on the purpose and intent of the DDN Curriculum Lesson Plan Bank:

  • Lessons/units should be exemplars and models representative of the designer’s best practice.
  • Lessons/units that are submitted must be original. Copyright laws and intellectual property rights must be carefully observed.
  • Lessons/units should be reviewed by at least one colleague prior to submission.

The lesson/unit components that are included in the lesson plan bank are summaries only. There should be enough information for an educator to replicate the lesson/unit context and content. The complete lesson/unit should reside on the designer’s state/school web site.
